LRSC Art Instructor Art Featured in Fargo

Lake Region State College online art instructor Karen Anderson was recently featured in the Fargo Forum and annual Fargo Moorhead Visual Artists’ Constraint Show for her ceramic art. The show’s theme of Antiquity was displayed at Drekker Brewery downtown Fargo in October.

Anderson’s ceramic wall plaque titled, “Vestales Flaminicae”, which translated from Latin means, “Roman Priestess keeper of the Flame, was pictured on the front page of the Fargo Forum’s Variety page.

Anderson, a long-time public art instructor in the Devils Lake School system, spends her time making her own art through mediums such as clay, pastels, raku pottery, pencil, oil, metals and mixed media. Anderson also teaches art classes online at Lake Region State College. Her college courses include Art History and Introduction to Visual Art.
