UND working with local diversity advocacy group to host speakers on social justice, TODAY, Thursday, Sept. 3

In collaboration with University of North Dakota's Center for Human Rights & Genocide Studies, a part of the College of Arts & Sciences, two social justice advocates will speak Thursday, Sept. 3, at St. Paul's Episcopal Church in Grand Forks. The event is sponsored by North Dakotans for Diversity and Compassion (NDDC).

Tony Stewart and Norm Gissel will talk to members of the community about promoting diversity and compassion, said NDDC Chairwoman Natasha Thomas. The NDDC event will start at 6:30 p.m., at St. Paul's Episcopal Church, located at 319 S. Fifth St. An ice cream social will follow the talk.
