Credit-By-Exam
There are currently four ways to receive academic credit for non-collegiate learning experiences at all of the campuses of the North Dakota University System (NDUS). These credit-by-exam programs include Advanced Placement (AP), College Level Examination Program (CLEP), International Baccalaureate (IB), and DANTES Subject Standardized Tests (DSST). Click the link above for minimum scores, credits granted, and equivalent courses.

Articulation Agreement Guidelines
Coordinating an articulation agreement between your school and one of the campuses on the NDUS could be extremely valuable to your students. Click the link above to find out how.

Articulation Agreement Index
Below is a list of articulation/transfer agreements currently maintained within the North Dakota University System. These agreements may be used to make transfer plans between North Dakota campuses. Click on the campus link below to see which agreements are currently available or use the search feature to find a specific program on a specific campus. Contact the campus for a copy of the agreement.

General Education Requirement Transfer Agreement
The General Education Requirement Transfer Agreement is an agreement among all NDUS institutions and North Dakota tribal colleges to honor one another's general education (GE) programs as equivalent to their own. This means you can complete your GEs at a campus close to home, transfer to a new campus, and have no more GEs to complete. Click above to see which courses on your campus satisfy statewide GEs.

Transfer Times Newsletters
The Transfer Times is a statewide newsletter for faculty and staff at all levels of North Dakota education. Newsletter topics include a variety of issues important to transfer students and those who advise them. Click the link above to see the most current newsletter or delve into the archives for even more information.

Transfer Migration Study
This study is the first of three to comprehensively track North Dakota's in-state transfer students as they migrate between NDUS institutions. The goal of this study is to provide information that will enhance the quality of academic and student services and to provide feedback for good decision making to the campuses preparing those students for transfer. Click the link above to view the study.

Transfer Answers Brochure
Currently only one Transfer Answers Brochure exists and it is designed for high school counselors. Two other Transfer Answers Brochures are planned - one for students and one for the families of students. Click the link above to view.
