SUBJECT: 400s: Academic affairs EFFECTIVE: December 9, 2016
Section: 407.0 Reverse Transfer

  1. Students at North Dakota University System (NDUS) universities who transferred from NDUS colleges or tribal community colleges will be notified of this opportunity after successfully completing 24 semester hours from the NDUS college or ND tribal college and subsequently earning 15 semester hours from an NDUS university. Students must be in good academic standing at both institutions.

  2. The NDUS colleges and universities will designate a campus contact and share appropriate student transcripts and other documentation in a manner consistent with FERPA requirements.

  3. NDUS universities will provide a transcript to the NDUS college or ND tribal college of the student's record at no charge upon completion of the academic term.

  4. Community colleges agree to waive the application fee and to provide academic advising to students participating in reverse transfer

  5. Upper-division courses completed at a university may be considered for lower-division substitution on an individual basis.
