NASA Teacher In-service at Dakota College Posted on 9/12/2013
Bottineau area K-12 educators have been invited to participate in a 3-day NASA Summer of Innovation workshop being sponsored by Dakota College at Bottineau, The North Central Education Consortium and NASA. Teachers will participate in STEM activities related to space. Part of the training will be on the use of a space dome that is on loan from the Rice Space Institute, Houston, Texas.
Teachers participating in the training will be able to host the dome in their own schools during October or November. DCB students will be assisting the outreach program.
The dates for the in-service are set for September 18, October 10, and October 30. The workshop will take place at Rugby High school and Dakota College at Bottineau. Contact Angie Bartholomay at Dakota College for information, 228-2277.
