DSU students receive scholarships from NEHA Posted on 7/11/2012
Dickinson State University students Rosalia Petersen and Heather Schmidt each received a $1,000 scholarship from the National Environmental Health Association. Three undergraduate scholarships and one graduate scholarship are offered nationally each year by the NEHA.
This year, two DSU students were recipients of undergraduate NEHA scholarships. In addition, DSU student researcher Jenifer Murray recently returned from the National Environmental Health Association‘s Annual Educational Conference in San Diego, Calif. Murray presented a poster presentation on INBRE research conducted at Dickinson State.
Dr. Lynn Burgess, professor of biology at DSU, also was in attendance at the NEHA conference and conducted the annual meeting of the Association for Academic Programs.
