Four DSU wrestlers make Academic All-American Team Posted on 4/18/2012 The NAIA and National Wrestling Coaches Association have recently released their Academic Awards for the 2012 season. The Dickinson State University wrestling team was acknowledged for their excellence not only on the mat, but in the classroom as well. Four Blue Hawk wrestlers were placed on the Academic All-American team including: Brad Steele, Bryden Lazaro, Austin Frazier and Robert Meador. As a team, Dickinson State ended the season ranked 10th in the nation academically. To be considered for recognition the wrestlers must have qualified for the national tournament with at least a 3.25 GPA or have reached All-American status with at least 3.0 GPA.
