Annual undergraduate research conference scheduled at DSU April 26

Dickinson State University will hold its annual undergraduate research conference on Thursday, April 26, from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. in the lower level of Klinefelter Hall.
For the first time in the history of the undergraduate conference, students will be eligible for scholarship awards. Student work will be presented in the form of research findings, poster presentations, literary papers and artistic work.
The conference will feature keynote speaker Dr. Alison Looby, assistant professor of psychology at the University of North Dakota. Looby's research focuses on college students' substance abuse with a particular emphasis on marijuana and nonmedical stimulant use. Looby has published numerous research articles and has received funding support from the National Institute on Drug Abuse and is currently involved in mentoring several undergraduate students in research.
Refreshments will be served throughout the conference. The event is free and open to the public.
