Interim CEBAS dean appointed at DSU by DSU Posted on 4/11/2012 Dr. Dawn Olson, assistant professor of education, was recently appointed by Dr. D.C. Coston to serve as the interim dean of the College of Education, Business and Applied Sciences at Dickinson State University. Olson has been with DSU since 2009 in the Department of Teacher Education. Prior to her arrival at DSU, Olson has served as the dean of instruction at Williston State College for five years and has also had extensive faculty experience at Valley City State University. Her duties will include providing leadership for CEBAS and working closely with university students, department chairs and faculty. Olson's appointment is effective July 1, 2012. A national search will be conducted in the spring of 2013 to appoint a permanent dean. |
