Posted on 1/12/2018

This year we observe the 50th anniversary of the death of Martin Luther King Jr. The University of North Dakota and the City of Grand Forks will be co-hosting an event to honor, celebrate, and remember on Martin Luther King Day. This event, entitled "The Dream in Action," will commemorate the leader of the civil rights movement through art, music, and a message. We invite you to join us at the Gorecki Alumni Center on the UND campus from 11 A.M. to 12:30 P.M. on January 15, 2018 for this occasion. The event will include a performance by the Grand Cities Children's Choir, a message from UND President Mark Kennedy and Grand Forks Mayor Michael Brown, live music, and artwork by the University Children's Learning Center.
