Dickinson State's Women's Voices program themed toward women in the military

The 9th annual "Women's Voices" program at Dickinson State University will begin Tuesday, Feb. 28, and will conclude Tuesday, April 3. This year, the program is themed toward women who are currently serving in the military and veterans of the armed forces.
Featured speakers include Dr. Christina Weber, assistant professor of sociology at North Dakota State University; Col. Giselle "Gigi" Wilz, deputy chief of staff for operations for the North Dakota Army National Guard; Lt. Col. Davina French, government affairs officer for the North Dakota Army National Guard; women currently in the military and families of military personnel.
All events are free and open to the public, with the exception of the luncheon scheduled for Wednesday, March 7. The luncheon will be at noon in the Student Center Ballroom will feature keynote speaker Dr. Christina Weber. The North Dakota National Guard funeral honors team also will be in attendance and will explain the significance of each of the 13 folds of the American flag.
Women's Voices is an annual program created by Dickinson State University with the initiative of focusing on the lives and accomplishments of women.
