24. Ratify Chancellors interim authorization for NDSU to: (1) retain the law firm of Stinson Leonard Street LLP to defend the lawsuit initiated by Roers Construction, Inc. ("Roers") relating to the A. Glenn Hill Building and initiate all related claims that are legally advisable; and (2) establish a deficiency fund to pay the costs of the litigation in the expectation that NDSU will seek reimbursement of such costs through a deficiency appropriation in a future legislative session.
25. NDSU to proceed with a fundraising campaign through the through the NDSU Foundation and Alumni Association in an amount not to exceed $1.5 million. The 65th Legislative Assembly approved $1.5 million from other funds for this project.
26. UND/SoMHS transfer of $5,963,188 from the operations line of SoMHS to the operations line of UND, as provided in 2017 Senate Bill 2003 (Section 22), for the 2017-19 biennium.
27. UND to raze two buildings: Robertson/Sayre Hall and Corwin/Larimore Hall (each with an insurable value over $250,000).
28. LRSC is requesting an increase in mandatory fees, totaling $6.00 per credit hour, or an annual increase of $180.00 for an average student taking 15 credit hours per semester.
29. VCSU to proceed with repairs to the Lokken Field outdoor track field at an estimated cost of $1.2 Million to be funded by donations; and to solicit approval from the interim Budget Section during its March 2018 meeting.
30. MiSU to proceed with maintenance and renovation of seating at the MSU Dome. The project will cost an estimated $2.2 million and will be funded through external, privately-raised dollars. Further authorize Minot State University to solicit approval from the legislative interim Budget Section during its March 2018 meeting.
